Our scope was to investigate the relationships between symptoms of anxiety and depression with personality traits. Symptoms of depression, in turn, were not significantly correlated with any personality trait. There are also studies conducted in Brazil focusing only on the relationship between personality traits and symptoms of anxiety or depression.
